Dog with No Eyes Plays Fetch
My dog says animals don't let disabilities get them down. Humans tend to wallow in self-pity, but dogs just accept what they've been dealt and move on. Enter Chica.
Chica has no eyes. Yet, she plays fetch, jumps in the car, and runs with abandon--we could all benefit from having the same fortitude and love for life. Here's Chica's story:

Elephant Romps in Ocean
IMPORTANT UPDATE BELOW THIS VIDEO! WE NO LONGER APPROVE OF THIS ACTIVITY OR THIS VIDEO! PLEASE WATCH THE SECOND VIDEO ON THIS PAGE INSTEAD!
My dog says the next time you visit the zoo and think the elephants there are happy, remember this video. We were all born to be free; not confined. Look at this elephant romp through the waves. This is what happiness looks like.
When we found this video above many years ago, we thought it was adorable and wanted to share it because we thought the elephant was having a great time. But, since then, we've learned that is NOT the case!
As it turns out, baby elephants are trained to romp in the ocean to amuse tourists. Trainers hide nails in their hands and then stab the baby elephant in the ear as they guide them into the ocean!
Please read this important article from One Green Planet about the reality behind this seemingly precious video and why these baby elephant videos are so cruel! Below is the reality of baby elephants in Thailand. Please watch.

What if The Oscars Were The Pawscars?
My dog says it's Oscars weekend, but films with people bore him. What if all the nominated films had dog stars instead? Now, that would be worth watching!
Check out this fun parody of the movies nominated for best film. Our favorite spoof is the one for Dark Zero Thirty. What's yours?

Pit Bull Saves Family & Dog Siblings
My dog says he loves a story with a happy ending. Especially one where the hero is a dog!
Whoever thinks that dogs don't have the capacity to think are just plain wrong. Not only do dogs act in the best interests of their families, their fierce loyalty is unparalleled. Just ask Baby.
Baby not only save her human family when fire consumed their home as they slept, but Baby went back into the house to save the other five dogs--even dragging one out from under the bed.
Check out Baby's story below:

Woody Harrelson Meets a Stuffed Fox
My dog says he wants you to spend three minutes with actor Woody Harrelson and a cute stuffed fox in this latest video from the Humane Society of the United States. The fact of the matter is that fur is not a fabric; it's an animal. And for those of you who'd like to learn more about the fur industry--without watching all the gory, bloody videos--Woody has something just for you. Check it out.

It's National Answer Your Cat's Questions Day
My dog says that cats are more complicated than dogs. Sometimes they're coy. Other times they're aloof. And, boy can they be mischievous. We pity the ball of yarn that thinks it can take on a kitty.
So, yes, today is National Answer Your Cat's Questions Day. Take the time to ask your kitty what's on his or her mind. What do they like and not like. What can you do to be a better pet parent? And really take the time to listen. Don't let the day slip by without giving your kitty his say. What's new pussy cat?

Duck chases good-natured dog
My dogs says ducks are enthusiastic playmates. If you grew up with a big brother or sister who picked on you, chances are this duck would have given them a run for their money. Luckily, this seems to be the most good-natured dog ever.

Loca the Pug Goes Prancing
My dog says sometimes you just need to share something silly. Loca the pug (in the video below) doesn't seem to be the best runner. We're not sure why the ability to run seems to elude her, but she seems quite happy and well spirited. Check out her Irish song and wacky run.
