Product Review: Blue Buffalo Divine Delights for Dogs

My dog says today we'll be reviewing a product from Blue Buffalo. This is a brand we have learned more about in the last year, and we were anxious to try out a new product line of theirs. We chose the Divine Delights Variety Pack to test out.

First noteworthy thing about this variety pack is the packaging. This box has a peel pack opening so you can keep the trays in the box. Depending on how you store things, that might be helpful to you. We, for one, frequently have trays slide off of one another on the shelf so we kinda like this idea.

This product is prepared especially for small dogs and the protein-rich recipe includes only made in the USA ingredients. There is no chicken by-products or poultry by-product meals, and it's also free of artificial colors/flavors/preservatives, wheat, corn, and soy.

For the grilled chicken recipe, the first five ingredients are chicken, chicken broth, chicken liver, potatoes, and carrots. For the top sirloin flavor, it's beef, chicken, beef broth, potatoes, and chicken liver.

This pate is nice and moist, with a little juice and a bit of gelatin on top. What did the pups think?

Well, they loved both flavors. Gobbled down, bowl completely cleaned, loved. It's a no brainer to give the Blue Buffalo Divine Delights Pate Variety Pack from Chewy a top score of four paws! We'll definitely be trying more products from Blue Buffalo in the future!

Product Review: Zignature Limited Ingredient Canned Dog Food

My dogs says today we're taking a look at the Zignature Limited Ingredient line of foods. We're always looking for new wet foods to add to the dogs' rotation, so we'll be reviewing the turkey formula canned food for dogs. We've had a lot of success with the Zignature kibble, so we're excited to see what the dogs think of the wet.

This food is a meat-first recipe and the limited ingredient emphasis means that it lacks ingredients that can sometimes be problematic for dogs, such as chicken, corn, wheat, soy, and potatoes. The first five ingredients in this formula are turkey, turkey broth, turkey liver, peas, and turkey meal. The turkey is sourced from America and the food is made in the United States. 

We liked the consistency of the Zignature. Enough moisture to be appetizing and easy to eat, but not so much that it was gloppy. A very good balance. 

We let Alexander be our test subject for the Zignature canned food and he took to it immediately and finished it all. We gave him the food on it's own, but will put in on top of our Zignature turkey recipe kibble next time. 

The Zignature Limited Ingredient Turkey Formula from Chewy was a success and all the pups have since given it their seal of approval, as well. So, the crew at My Dog Says Woof gives this product four out of four paws up! The Zignature line has been a proven winner in our house and we look forward to trying more items from them in the future!
